The Angel of Water irrigation device for medi-spas

In 1989, Rocco Bruno entered the then little-known field of colon irrigation. At that time only primitive devices were available and after using unappealing equipment in his own colon irrigation practice he put his field and design knowledge to work and began development of a professional and sophisticated device, the Angel of Water CM-1.

After 10 years of conducting thousands of sessions and perfecting the device, Rocco and his wife Amy formed Lifestream Purification Systems, LLC in 2000 to manufacture the device in Austin, Texas. They received FDA clearance for the Angel of Water in 2002.

In addition to obtaining CE Marking in 2006 and other regulatory clearances, the Angel of Water now conforms to the IEC 60601-1, 3rd edition standard for Medical Electrical Equipment. Along with its supreme functionality and elegant design, the Angel of Water possesses a world-class regulatory portfolio, second to none.

A random single-blind study conducted at CHRU de Strasbourg, Strasbourg, France in 2012 validated the Angel of Water’s efficacy and rigorous sanitation and disinfection protocols in a hospital setting.

Colon Irrigation is now becoming a popular modality and is in high demand in medi-spa settings. Anecdotally, people continually report their aquatherapy sessions as being both refreshing and relaxing.

Staff members appreciate the Angel’s effectiveness, ease-of-use, and unsurpassed safety features. The Angel of Water is quiet, sanitary, odourless, easy to clean and maintain, and requires only a small room for installation.

Lifestream has also partnered with HyGIeaCare Centers to serve the GI market.
